It is with great pleasure that I award the Iron Cross 2nd Class to Leutnant zur See Ullrich Heyse, for
bravery and actions during the initial phase of Operation Paukenschlag that were clearly above and
beyond the call of duty, and for sinking 98,905 gross tonnes of Allied merchant shipping.   Congratulations!



This award may be worn in the following methods:

    1. From the second button of the tunic. 
    2. When in formal dress, the entire cross is to be worn mounted alone or as part of a medal bar.
    3. For everyday wear, only the ribbon is to be worn from the second button hole in the tunic. 

I also take great pleasure in awarding the

AMERICA AND CARIBBEAN THEATER CAMPAIGN BADGE
