Endlich zuhause!
U-413 has arrived in Brest after completion of the first war patrol. The men, along with food, ammunition, and fuel, are exhausted.
Yet, there is more than enough to show for this effort! Eight British ships lie on the bottom, two more were damaged, their precious cargoes destroyed by a single steel wolf.
Close encounters with death occurred more than once for U-413, foremost to mention that the boat was taken by surprise just after reloading torpedoes at the surface. No serious malfunctions recorded, aside from a single dud torpedo.
