We had hardly left Lorient when a huge target crossed our way out of the Biskaya. Because it was directly on our course and we had an extremely good position the British Walfabrikschiff "Lame Swan", approx. 12000 tons, has been sent to the bottom using 3 of the new TIII torpedos.

After sheer endless travels and hilariously frequent "bathing-breaks" to keep up morale, U-156 has finally arrived at destination:

While recharging batteries on the surface apparently a US Fletcher destroyer detected our radar signal.
Evasion not possible, he came right towards our position. We therefore had to send hundreds of good US-democrats to their grave.

On the way there we have sunk a small merchant using deckgun and an old passenger liner with 2 torps.

No tankers sighted at all. Pressing on to new patrol area! Crew is looking forward!

U-Boot severely damaged due to a tag-team air attack. Luckily no injuries or losses. Leakages could be repaired,
but Kommandant decided to launch our last 3 torpedoes on the only two tankers that we encountered on this whole
Unternehmung.

Returning to home base with a half-holed U-Boot...

Your U-Boot will undergo inspection for repairs and refit, and then into drydock.  In the meantime, you are cleared to send your
men on leave. Report back when your U-Boot is ready for its next patrol.
