Visibility and weather extremely poor, except for the first day (image abive). Since then heavy rain and fog.
Taken by surprise on surface while recharging batteries. Light damage sustained from DC-attacks. However conning tower almost completely
destroyed, all flak and periscopes destroyed. Two eels left. No casualties on crew luckily.

Therefore request to break-off attack for repairs in home port.

Your U-Boot will undergo inspection for repairs and refit, and then into drydock.  In the meantime, you are cleared to send your
men on leave, and see to it that you get some medical attention and well deserved recuperation.

When leaving the Biskaya, we were alerted about an airplane, but for a change it was German:



Next we were passing (overtaking) an ITA convoy (not reported)



Further patrol was so far uneventful, a trawler was sunk with only 2 hits:



Then the fun started - we caused real havoc...

All torpedos were shot, so we met with U-117 in DC9413:
